Mega Millions excitement is growing along with the jackpot - and players are lining up for a piece of the action. More than 1.2 million tickets were winners in the Friday, June 25 Mega Millions drawing. That includes 14 tickets that each won $175,000 and 111 tickets that each won $5,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $177 million jackpot, the jackpot for the Tuesday, June 29, 2004 drawing grows to an estimated $210 million.

The winning numbers in Friday’s drawing were 18-19-29-32-42 and the Mega Ball Number was 32.

The 14 tickets that each won $175,000 matched the first five Mega Millions numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in Georgia (2), Illinois (3), Massachusetts (1), Maryland (1), Michigan (2), New Jersey (1), New York (2), Ohio (1) and Virginia (1).

Mega Millions players won a total of $8,907,695 in Friday’s drawing. Here is a breakdown of the 1,290,368 winning tickets:

14 tickets matched the first 5 numbers for $175,000
111 tickets matched 4 numbers + the Mega Ball for $5,000
4,573 tickets matched 4 numbers for $150
4,314 tickets matched 3 numbers + the Mega Ball for $150
67,313 tickets matched 2 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10
220,251 tickets matched 3 numbers for $7
367,174 tickets matched 1 number + the Mega Ball for $3
626,618 tickets matched the Mega Ball for $2

Mega Millions is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time, and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
